The Jewish Innovation
*Warning: Some Graphic Images in Video*
'Once And For All' is a NOLA based campaign dedicated to suppressing the evil phenomenon of anti-Semitism around the world through the use of media techniques such as film, music videos, mixed media and other artistic measures. This campaign is designed to end all illegitimate forms of attack against the Jewish state of Israel, as well as to counter the culture of anti-Semitism that is growing rapidly around the globe. Through the power of film and education, we can challenge the vitriolic hatred being spewed from anti-Semitic zealots and greatly impact the lives of others around the world.
Our first task in this campaign is to produce a music video conveying the resilience of the Jewish people in the face of violent bigotry utilized by malevolent ideologues, such as those representing Hamas, the PLO, the PA, and various other groups holding the same malicious intent. The song we will be using is entitled, 'After the Storm,' by a British group named Mumford and Sons. We will be obtaining a license to use this song so everything can be done in a legal fashion. We believe this song really conveys the essence of the Jewish state of Israel in that it tells a story of a people that have dedicated their lives to enduring in the midst of chaos and adversity. These people are stubborn in their determination to survive and they recognize that even in the initial pandemonium of the storm they face, they will rise, triumphant. Indeed, a line in the song is as follows: "Night has always pushed up day. You must know life to see decay, but I won't rot. I won't rot. Not this mind and not this heart, I won't rot." Thus, the name of the music video is, 'We Remain.'
The impact
Anti-Semitism, it seems, comes and goes in waves. The period we are in now is a massive tidal wave, enormous in size and scope, and is drafting people in by the thousands. Israel faces enemies that are motivated by an evil hatred of the Jewish people. Period. This point must be made, shouted from the rooftops, and through the use of film, it can reach literally billions of people. Reflection and action are two things that must be connected to have any impact for the greater good. Film has the power to spark revolutions, change minds, and improve the lives of many for generations to come. The debate has been stagnant, dear reader. Those who claim Israel is an apartheid state are identifiable through their scarves and their shoutings at otherwise, peaceable meetings with members of Israeli leadership. The Orwellian mantra now stands as though it makes pure, unadulterated, sense: Israel, the state which by its very nature, is the answer to end anti-Semitism is now akin to nazism, the ultimate symbol of anti-Semitism.
This simply will not do.
Dear reader, it is time to take back the debate. We will change the constructs of the entire dialogue by showing the world that those who bow to the feet of Hitler LITERALLY on their websites and state run televisions, do not get to, in turn, compare Jews to nazis, with whom they are complicit. With a united front, we will defeat the global phenomenon of anti-Semitism, once and for all.
